PRAGMATIC

My way of working can be described as accessible and pragmatic. I have a commercial mindset and I
am used to negotiating difficult commercial contracts and advising on complex legal topics. My aim is
– most of the times - to create a win-win situation, whereby both parties are satisfied with the outcome
of a negotiation, while securing that the ‘must have requirements’ from my client are met.

STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS

I quickly analyze legal queries and problems, while at the same time seeing the bigger picture and
understanding that the legal angle is often only part of the solution. My advices are to the point, not
overly legally complicated and can directly be implemented by the relevant business colleague. I am
also used to work on company broad projects, advising on the legal part of such projects.

TEAM PLAYER

I am a team player and used to working both in small and large legal teams, with other (native or
foreign) legal team members. I also have experience in working in a stand-alone legal position in a
start-up environment, working even more closely with various business stakeholders and
management.
